I Think Spring Might Actually be Here!

So, for dinner tonight we had our first picnic on the back porch. Hamburgers, corn on the cob, and a top notch salad. As you can see Beth and I were having a great time. Plus notice the two dog bun! It tastes delicious I would definitely recommend using two hot dogs. Anyways after that joy I headed to our roof to read some of my current series and... To eat some more! ( I am growing so I need lots of nourishment.) Today was extremely nice and just windy enough to not be to hot. What I'm trying to say is it was a little bit of heaven. Well got to go, Brigadoon downstairs is calling me! Until next time.

The Bend and Flying!

For a late Spring break treat we went to South Bend again. First I'm sorry for the bad quality in some of these pictures they were all taken on a phone. As you can see we got to fly! As always it was the best! Anyways for lunch the day we got there we went to Chicory CafĂ©. It was very good especially the Beignets. Basically they are crispy donut holes! Over the weekend there was a lot of totty, talking, and laughing! The beautiful house that you see up above is the Oliver house. Built in 1896 out limestone and other very expensive materials.  It's very amazing and kind of reminds you of Downton Abbey. We also went to Notre Dame, Very pretty. And the Saint Joe River also pretty were you see us with Fish and Chips is at the Fiddlers Hearth. It's a cool little pub.

Since then I have been chilling, reading Grimm's fairy tales and writing. I miss Ann lots and lots and can not wait to go back. (or have her come her.) Any who that's all for now Happy Travelings!

Easter Activities

Ben has decided he loves Bunny Cakes and can't wait to try them!

Well this was Easter, and we made Bunny cake and ate ham and all the quintessential Easter things! As you can see we couldn't really get a picture that was good of all of us. ( oh well ) Bunny Cakes are a kind of tradition. My Grandma has made one most every year and this year I helped her. We used Devils food cake for ours cause we all love chocolate, but basically all you do is you make the cake in two 8 in. cake tins and then you just cut them and cover them in frosting and candy! Anyways it's a beautiful day and I want to get out there. I'll try and blog again soon.
