The Home Coming of Paul

Us making, cough.. delivering a note from Majora

So Paul has been in Europe visiting a orphanage in Romania. When he came back we... Helped tiny Links move into his room + delivered/made a note from Majora to him; went to the airport to pick him up in the midst of his youth group, with signs that broad casted that he belonged to the rambunctious group laughing and overall obviously having the most fun of anyone there; (though I do believe I detected some stares) and as you can see opened and snarfed down his presents from Romania. My favourite ones where the Espresso Dark Chocolate; and the Dark Orange Chocolate. They were all delicious though, their Swiss chocolate manufactured in Romania. Paul actually got to meet the guy who makes the chocolate. He also learned that it's named Heidi because that's what his daughters' name is. Well I guess I will part by saying, Schokolade ist der beste!

The Bend and Flying!

For a late Spring break treat we went to South Bend again. First I'm sorry for the bad quality in some of these pictures they were all taken on a phone. As you can see we got to fly! As always it was the best! Anyways for lunch the day we got there we went to Chicory CafĂ©. It was very good especially the Beignets. Basically they are crispy donut holes! Over the weekend there was a lot of totty, talking, and laughing! The beautiful house that you see up above is the Oliver house. Built in 1896 out limestone and other very expensive materials.  It's very amazing and kind of reminds you of Downton Abbey. We also went to Notre Dame, Very pretty. And the Saint Joe River also pretty were you see us with Fish and Chips is at the Fiddlers Hearth. It's a cool little pub.

Since then I have been chilling, reading Grimm's fairy tales and writing. I miss Ann lots and lots and can not wait to go back. (or have her come her.) Any who that's all for now Happy Travelings!

Colorado Trip

It says " your travel choices within the next year will bring serendipity"

The castle at Glen Eyrie.

I will start off by saying sooo sorry I haven't written in forever! Our camera has been having some troubles, and we have been pretty busy.
Enough of that, these are pictures of our awesome annual Colorado trip! It was seven days long, we started out in the Marriott for one night in Fort Collins Co., then moved on to the YMCA of the Rockies! We were in a cabin called the Three Sisters! I got to sleep on the top bunk which was very exciting, plus dad would always build fires and make amazing breakfasts. As you an see in the pictures we played putt putt Golf my score was +5. After two nights in the cabin we drove down to Co. Springs and Glen Eyrie where we spent most of our days drawing and reading. We also went to a wonderful German Bakery named Wimbergers! Well I should probably go Auf Wiedersehen.

Adventures in South Bend

On Friday at 6:00 O'clock we left with a loaded moving truck and a full trunk. In that way we started the twelve hour drive to South Bend. We made a few short stops at McDonald's, and Noodles and co. And we stopped at McDonald's again for dinner. When we got to their apartment ( Elthan Place ) we got to meet the land lord and she was awesome! She showed us every nook and cranny in the entire apartment!! After that we unloaded the truck, set up the beds, ( and the air mattresses ) and played Dominion while eating twizlers then went to bed. On Saturday we opened all the boxes and put stuff away, I organized the china cupboard and one of their many book selves. ( sadly I didn't organize the one shown here Beth organized that one) For lunch we had crackers and cheese. Then took a tour of South Bend, ( including visiting Notre Dame ) and picked up pizza. After pizza we talked and watched "You've Got Mail" then went to bed. On Sunday we woke up and started the long ride home to Kanas City leaving Patrick and Ann in south bend. That is the extant of our adventures in South Bend.

Transporting Myself to Sweden

Yesterday I woke up unusually early and to make my morning great! My coffee was not as light as it looks, I don't put that much creamer in. The cereal is Reece's puffs and they are the very best ever I eat them all the time. So I got this idea for going to Sweden through coffee from my grandma as she would say, " Swedes love their coffee" and I sure do love my coffee if I could I would drink it everyday! The rest of the day included, Ann coming and us getting to talk to her, going to the pool, and playing Hunger games before bed! So good eats and good times!!
